Sorghum
Sorghum is one of the best values as a feed source among the field crops of AgEMart2100. Some of us refer to the plant as Milo. Sorghum is reputed to have a drought tolerance advantage over some other field crops.
Sorghum is primarily used as a feed for livestock, but a new use is for manufacturing Ethanol, an excellent renewable fuel source for our future energy needs.
Within the sorghum family is an old favorite food called molasses which is made from sorghum cane. Molasses is not only a favorite food but has been used to extract oil via microbial activity. Interesting?
